Your data is yours. We only collect what we need to make Tebbo work and to make it better over time. We don't sell your information. We don't share it with advertisers. If you want your data deleted, we'll delete it.

- Account info: When you first open Tebbo, we create a device credential to identify your device. If you sign in with Google or Apple, we may receive your name and email from those services. We never collect or store passwords.
- Referral source: During onboarding, we may ask how you found Tebbo (e.g. friends/family, app store, social media). This is optional. If you choose to share it, we use it to understand how people discover the app and to improve our outreach.
- Your habits: The habit names, completion status, and notes you enter. This lives on your device and is periodically backed up to our servers.
- Notifications: If you turn on push notifications, we collect a device token so we can send them to you. You can turn these off anytime in your device settings.
- Feedback: If you contact us or submit feedback, we'll have whatever info you choose to share with us (like your email and message).
Information collected automatically:
- Technical data: Your IP address, device type, operating system, and timestamps. This is pretty standard for any app that connects to a server.
- Device credential: A unique identifier generated on your device to authenticate requests with our servers.
- Cookies (website only): Our website at tebbo.app uses cookies, including Google Analytics, to understand site traffic. The Tebbo app itself does not use cookies.
How We Use Your Data
- Making Tebbo work: Backing up your habit data, sending you reminders and notifications, keeping your account running, and working with notification delivery providers to send push notifications.
- Making Tebbo better: Understanding how people use the app so we can fix bugs, improve features, and build new ones.
- Communicating with you: Sending updates about the app, new features, or occasional promotional messages. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails anytime.
- Legal stuff: Responding to lawful requests and protecting our rights when necessary.
How We Keep Your Data Safe
- Your data is stored on secure servers (ours or trusted providers) with encrypted connections (SSL/TLS).
- We use technical, administrative, and physical safeguards to protect your information.

We don't sell or rent your personal information.

If you enable push notifications, we may share your push token and the notification content needed to deliver reminders or app notifications with our notification delivery providers.
Subscription payments are processed through Apple and Google's in-app purchase systems. We never directly collect or store your payment information.

This section only applies to our website (tebbo.app), not the mobile app.
Our website uses cookies, including Google Analytics, to understand how visitors find and use our site. Cookies are small files stored on your device by your browser. We do not currently respond to "Do Not Track" browser signals.

We do not sell your personal information. We also do not share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are used under California law. Our website uses Google Analytics to understand site traffic and usage.

Children's Privacy
Tebbo is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13.
During onboarding, we may ask optional questions like how you found the app. These questions are optional and are not intended to permit children under 13 to use Tebbo.
If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will delete that information within a reasonable period, unless the law requires otherwise. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will investigate and address it.
